The project included using a helicopter to move approximately 10 yards of gravel from the Ira Spring Trailhead to a switchback area in talus at approximately M.P 2.6. Three sets of rock steps were constructed and approximately 436 feet of trail surfaced. The work was done with a contractor to fly the gravel and the district trail crew to build the rock steps and complete spreading the surfacing material.
