Projects for 2007


Dingford creek trail

This was a project granted to EarthCorps. The EarthCorps crews were made of 5 AmeriCorps national service volunteers and 6 international volunteers from Namibia, Moldova, Panama, Nepal and the Philippines.  All participants were between the ages of 18-25, and were supervised and trained on-site by two EarthCorps Project Managers.

Work Completed:
3,875 ft of brushing
110 ft of rerouting
575 ft. of surfacing
1,750 ft of tread work and root removal
250 ft of parallel ditching
100 ft of rock steps structure
350 ft. of rock turnpike
9 ford improvements
30 drain swales and dips
A TOTAL OF 1.7 MILES OF TRAIL MAINTAINED
