The trail was washed out at the 1.6 mile mark. 

The new location of the trail is over 800 feet in length and  traverses the slope above the washout. 

After blasting away rocks and stumps, it's time for structures. 

The Backcountry Horsemen/Trail Duster Chapter constructed a section, complete with log crib, rock crib and lots of digging.  

The trail is near completion.

With the re-route complete, the trail opened by June 2005.
