Completed Projects for 2002

We are pleased to announce the completion of a new log bridge over Barcley Creek. The Spring Trust for Trail Fund's $2,600 contribution to the project allowed the Forest Service to hire a helicopter and airlift the logs in, preserving the natural beauty of the area.

The Spring Family Trail Fund paid the salaries of three professional trail crew leaders between June and September of 2001. In just 115 days, these leaders and the volunteers who accompanied them generated 12,534 hours of trail work.
