grant application

Grant Application

Thank you for your interest in a Spring Trust for Trails grant. There is only one stipulation: your project must directly enhance hiking opportunities. Grant applications will be considered from all organizations. Annually, this fund deals best with grant requests between $5000 and $15,000.

.

Below you will find a Primary Application and a Grant Application. Initially you should fill out the Primary Application. If the Primary Application appears to be suitable for a project that we can fund, we will then invite you to send in a Grant Application. The chances of being funded after filling out a Grant Application will vary with the quality of the project and the number of other requests received.

Approved grants will be paid after receipt of statement for materials purchased or work completed in the year approved. All work relating to the grant must be completed no later than October 31st of the year received unless a written explanation is submitted to our Board with a reason for needing an extension. The Trust's year end is November 31st, and left over grant funds not used are reentered into the following year's grants.
